Are you looking for opportunities to study overseas?

BLI offers you the EHEP (Elementary and High school program). This program will enrich your Elementary or High school education providing you with the opportunity to become a fluently English speaker and enjoy the multiple activities that Canadian education offers to their students.

The EHEP offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Canadian Education system. You will be integrated into an elementary or Secondary school (grades 3 through 11) according to your age and to the grade you are currently taking in your home country while living with a Canadian family.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities and excursions. You will have the opportunity to attain a higher level of English fluency as well as learning French. You will be placed in a local educational institution and will have the opportunity to integrate with local and international students.

Length and Start dates

Program Lengths:

  • Year Program: 1 Academic Year
  • Semester Program: 1 Academic Semester
  • Experience Program: 4 to 12 weeks

  • Year Program: August
  • Semester Program: August / Winter

Admission requirements & Application process

Admission requirements

  • You must be between 6 and 17 years old at the time the program starts
  • You must have an intermediate level of English (If the student does not meet the minimum English requirement (BLI Intermediate 3), he/she will be required to take our Intensive English program prior to the start day of his/her high school program at an additional fee. Please refer to General ESL, FSL program fee structure.)
  • You must apply for the program a minimum of 3 months prior desired start date
  • You must be currently studying in your home country

Application process

  • Complete the program application form
  • Provide the following paper work
    • Latest copy of your report card
    • Copy of the original and translated birth certificate
    • All the documentation necessary to process CAQ

Once your application is accepted you have pay to the registration fee, (non refundable). The program fees should be paid in full four weeks prior your program start date.

  • Airport transfer (pick up and drop off)
  • Custodianship letter
  • Eligibility certificate
  • Accommodation placement fee
  • Single homestay accommodation
  • 3 meals per day (provided by the host family)

The program does not include:

  • Uniforms (*prices vary depending on the selected school)
  • CAQ fee and visa fee and process
  • Custodian service fee

Accommodation

Homestay

Our homestay program will give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture and language of Canada. They will live a family experience. All our host families are carefully selected and have to meet BLI’s quality criteria. We ensure that all host family homes meet safety and hygiene standards and have undergone a very strict selection procedure.

Meals

Students are provided with 3 nutritious meals per day from host family.
