At BLI, we want your experience abroad to be enjoyable from the first moment you arrive in Canada. For some students, arriving in a new place can be stressful. So that you don’t have to worry about anything, we offer a personalized and friendly pick-up service. One of our representatives will pick you up and make sure you arrive at your selected accommodation safely.
If you need this service, please let us know at the time of registration. It is important that you send us your flight details 4 weeks before your arrival to arrange the service.
BLI also offers an airport drop-off service. You can request this service at the time of your registration, or if you wish you can request it once you have arrived in Montreal.
International students arrive at Montreal’s Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau International Airport and Quebec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport.
When you arrive at the airport, be sure to follow the signs at the airport. You will need to go through the Primary Immigration Inspection point to speak to an official from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
This is where you will want to see your passport, Letter of Acceptance, information about your accommodation and your return air ticket to your country.
If you applied for a study permit because you will be studying for more than 6 months, your study permit will be issued upon arrival.
